Year 13 Teaching as Inquiry Term 1 Reflection

#1.  Raise Māori student achievement through the development of cultural visibility and responsive practices across the pathway as measured against National Standards and agreed targets for reading Years 1-10 and NCEA years 11-13. As a CoL leader within school I  am more interested in inquiring about student learning and my own practice.

My learners have completed one internal assessment(Trigonometry -4credits) and one external topic(Differentiation-Exam will be in November) in class.
Scholarship learners have completed another extra internal assessment(Conics-3credits) and another  extra external assessment(Complex Numbers-Exam will be in November) during after school-time.
Next step
Promote Mathematical literacy and reading in class.
Continue with extra support to bridge knowledge gap.
Continue with KWL chart, Solo taxonomy and check-chunk-chew strategy.
Bring in guest speakers, past students to have a motivational talk/Mentoring.
Starting scholarship program as they have finished successfully finished their term1 goal.
