One of the advantages of using SOLO taxonomy is that it provides the perfect platform for learners as they transition into NCEA. Much of the thinking behind the NCEA Achievement Standards is modelled on the same scaffolding SOLO taxonomy offers. My learners found SOLO taxonomy useful to differentiate A/M/E.
